ACS has established an agreement with Mobile Technology for the supply, installation and technical support of a total of 205 stations with "smart" KePol lockers, which will cover the entire Greek territory. This is the first installation of "smart" lockers that will take place in Greece and will provide consumers with the opportunity to receive (or deliver) their parcels with the Click & Collect method, i.e. without human contact, in any day and time (24/7).

KePol "smart" lockers, which will initially be installed in Attica and Thessaloniki, will be located outdoors, as they are extremely safe and durable even in extreme weather conditions. They will include a touch screen, for entering the required passwords on smart lockers, POS for those who wish to pay by card upon receipt of their parcel, alarm system, camera and LED lighting. The pilot installation of five stations in selected parts of Athens has already been planned for the beginning of 2022.

Please note that the "smart" lockers' interface software is implemented entirely by ACS. Mobile Technology undertook the implementation of this innovative and demanding project, as the company has the required know-how for the installation of the lockers, being the official representative of the Austrian company KEBA in Greece. Finally, it is pointed out that the KEBA solution is considered the most reliable and widespread solution in its category in Europe and has been used since 2001 with great success by leading companies in the courier industry.
