ACS is investing in digital transformation and modern technologies, specifically in applications related to the Internet of Things (IoT), with the primary goal of evolving its business model with more efficient and effective operations. In this context, an internal project related to an IoT platform was recently completed and has been in productive operation as a managed service since March 2023.

 

The platform Snap4City delivered and implemented by SNAP4 S.R.L is a multi-tenant, managing and hosting over 80 private legal entities of ACS franchises throughout Greece. It is a fleet management system that collects necessary data from various sources and helps users make decisions regarding the optimization of vehicle routes, while providing estimates such as arrival times and reports across the entire ACS franchise network.

 

With the necessary built-in intelligence, the system self-improves daily as the platform enhances its predictions through processing collected data, using tools such as machine learning, data analysis and error correction techniques, while historical data was fed into the system to initiate its training.
