ACS offers free of charge insurance for every shipment which is carried out within Greece through ACS’s Network, as long as the shipment and the conveyed item fulfill the conditions for undertaking the carriage.

Specifically, ACS provides the following insurance packages

1. Automatic Shipment Insurance (Basic)

Each shipment that is carried out by ACS and is not considered a prohibited item for carriage is automatically insured for loss or destruction regarding destinations within Greece and Cyprus, in the amount of up to €70,00 if it involves documents and up to €220,00 if it involves objects.

2. Additional Shipment Insurance (Full)

The insurance premiums for shipments (objects only) are as follows:

3. Domestic Freight Shipment Insurance (Business)

It is possible for clients with large amounts of freight shipments (at least 100 consignments/month) to obtain Business Insurance, by signing a special contract (to download the Business Insurance Contract in Greek click here), which includes a lower premium and coverage limits as per the following table:

Note: When Additional Insurance (Full) or Business is requested, the Automatic Insurance does not apply and the additional premium is charged.
